Hi, I am Amit Shankar Pal. Welcome to my web world. Here is a brief introduction about me. I work in information technology domain and stay at Hyderabad, India. My wife's name is Sujaya and we have two cute sons named Ayush and Oishik. I work sincerely during office hours but outside of office hours I am passionate about three things: Travel, Photography and Reading.
Travelling is my greatest passion. You will either find me travelling or making the plan for my next travel. My favorites are beaches and lesser-known hill stations; however, I am ready to travel at any place - be it a new city, lake, forest, historical place - just anything will do! A quiet holiday with family or a photography trip with friends at an offbeat place is the ideal way for me to spend the vacation.
Photography is my second passion. Invariably I carry my camera whenever I am travelling. Apart from that I am part of many photography group of various genres. I go for photo outing with likeminded friends every weekend. My favorite genre are bird, landscape and people. See the photo gallery for the photographs clicked by me. Hope you will enjoy them. I put huge effort to click each of the photo and maintain and upload them. It would be great if you can provide feedback for my gallery.
My third and my original passion is reading. I just cannot pass a day without reading something. Simply anything will do but I like the light fictions most. My favorite reading list would be exhaustive. The most favorite ones are Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, hunting stories by Kenneth Anderson and Jim Corbett... the list goes on and on! I have written a few short stories also. Feedback for those are most welcome.
